A private company wants to send a submarine to the Titanic again

Triton Submarines plans to use radically different technologies and approaches than those used in Oceangate in order to conduct a safe and successful exploration.

Connor and Lahey intend to use the Triton 4000/2 Abyssal Explorer, described as the world’s deepest acrylic submarine, designed to dive to depths of 4,000 metres. It has been used before for expeditions and film shoots in several regions of the world.
