‘Dragon House’ star will make viewers change their minds about his character
Eamond Targaryen will force viewers to change their opinion of him in the second season of the ‘House of the Dragon’ series, according to Ewan Mitchell, who plays the role of Alicenta Hightower’s third child, known as Eamond One-Eyed. The tragic death of Luceris in the first season finale made Eamond and his dragoness Vhagar be perceived in a certain way, but the actor insists that Eamond might surprise viewers in season two. In a recent interview, Ewan Mitchell stated that although from the outside it appears that Eamond is enjoying his new status at court, his hidden emotions may be quite different.

When asked what feelings Eamond has in his heart after the death of his nephew, Ewan Mitchell said, ‘The great beauty of my character is exactly that – you’re not sure until the end. You’re not aware of what’s going on inside him, but you know for sure there’s something going on in there. It’s like there are gears turning in his eyes, and it’s unclear which way he’s going to decide to go. It’s funny how Amond constantly forces the audience to decide what they think of him. In the final three scenes of the first season, I wanted to present a character who is darker than he is hard to find, only to be rebutted moments later when you see the regret on his face at the end and the realisation of the mistake he made. There will be many similar moments in season two, and some will be completely unexpected. In my opinion, the ability to surprise is in Eamond’s DNA.”
