Getting rid of condensation in the headlamps: simple ways

If moisture is trapped in the headlight cavities after using a pressure washer or driving through a deep puddle, the evaporation of water can be accelerated by using silica gel packets. You can place them directly inside the headlights. And to easily pull them back out afterwards, simply tie a string to each bag beforehand.

Sometimes the corners of the headlamps mist up slightly. This is normal, as the air from the ventilation system does not reach these areas as well. The condensation thus formed will disappear on its own either when the weather warms up or when the dipped or high beam is switched on for at least 15 minutes.

If the headlights are fogged up more seriously (for example, large drops of condensation or even puddles at the bases of the headlights), you will have to resort to more effective methods.
